The Meinl Sonic Energy 4-piece Cosmic Bamboo Chime Set combines four individually tuned Cosmic Bamboo Chimes with a dedicated four-chime stand. Each chime is tuned to a different time of day, with Aurora, Sol, Luna and Stella providing a varied collection of soft, resonant tones.
Designed for meditation, sound baths, yoga and mindful listening, the set provides an attractive way to display and play all four chimes together. Each chime can be played by gently pulling its braided cord, with interchangeable pendulums allowing the character of the sound to be adjusted.
The set contains four Cosmic Bamboo Chimes, each with its own tuning and name based on a different time of day. Aurora represents morning, Sol represents daytime, Luna represents evening and Stella represents night. All four are tuned with an A4 reference of 432Hz.
The individual chimes contain metal tines tuned to specific pitches and can be played using either the included acrylic pendulum for a harder sound or wooden pendulum for a softer response. Each chime is supplied with both types of pendulum.
The Cosmic Bamboo Chimes are designed to produce soft, resonant tones with a gentle response. The chimes can be activated by holding the cord and gently swinging the instrument, making them easy to incorporate into sound-based activities and relaxation practices.
A wrist strap is included on each chime for easy holding, while the combination of bamboo, wood and metal construction contributes to the overall acoustic character of the instruments.
The set includes a decorative and functional stand with four hooks, allowing all four Cosmic Bamboo Chimes to be displayed together. Also supplied is a hex key for assembly, while the chimes can be removed from their hooks when they need to be played individually or transported.
