Guitar effects pedals

(26)
Effects pedals alter how a guitar or bass guitar sounds. Usually controlled by the player's feet, they are plugged 'in line' between the guitar and the amplifier. A 'stompbox' unit is one which typically offers one particular type of effect (distortion, chorus, reverb, phaser, tremolo, delay, echo etc.) A 'multi effects' pedal allows for a number of different effects to be controlled - they can be operated separately or blended together.
