Introducing the Zoom M2 MicTrak 2-channel audio recorder

The M2 MicTrak is the latest innovation from Zoom in mobile recording. It features a new X/Y microphone capsule design as well as 32-bit float technology, meaning the M2 delivers great sound from the very first take

The M2 always records clipping-free audio, as thanks to 32-bit floating technology there is no need for levelling. Whether you're recording softly spoken dialogue or thundering drums, you are guaranteed to always get the sound that you want. When there's only one opportunity to record the story, the M2 won't let you down!

Even when on the road, you need no other recorder than the M2 to provide you with high-resolution, transparent stereo voice recordings anytime, anywhere.

Extremely quiet grip noise

Combined with the specially designed high-gloss finish, the M2's unique, resiliently suspended X/Y stereo microphones ensure that hand noise is drastically minimised.

Stereo and mono modes

With the M2, you can record in either mono or stereo mode. Stereo is best for music performances, while mono is the ideal choice for recording interviews and dialogue.

Normalise function

The M2 also provides you with a normalise function that allows you to optimise the levels of your recordings through raising or lowering the volume. This saves you time and therefore makes the post-production more efficient.

Thanks to the real-time waveform display on the M2's LCD screen, you can always keep an eye on your recordings.
