The LapCabby Lyte single door charging cabinet is a compact, secure, and efficient solution for charging and storing up to 16 or 20 devices with screens up to 15.6”, including laptops, Chromebooks, tablets (with or without protective cases), and other chargeable equipment. Devices are stored horizontally in individual compartments, supporting up to 16 or 20 devices. The fixed-shelf layout keeps equipment secure during storage and allows for easy access without the issue of messy cables. With a 6-plate lever activation key lock system and a separate lockable power compartment secured with steel and tamper-resistant screws, these units safeguard both devices and electrical components. The cabinets feature advanced charging hubs with 2 x 8-way power strips for charging up to 16 devices or 2 x 10-way power strips for charging up to 20 devices. Both provide USB-C ports (up to 60W) and USB-A ports (up to 10.5W), allowing simultaneous charging of all devices. This ensures devices are ready to go when needed. A snap-out 1.8m (6ft) IEC power cord helps prevent damage if accidentally pulled, maintaining both performance and safety.
Ventilation is managed through a silent, fan-free design with side, floor, and rear vents that maintain consistent airflow to prevent overheating, without the noise or hygiene risks of traditional fans. Ideal for quiet environments such as classrooms, offices, healthcare facilities , and industrial settings.
Cables are routed from the side power compartment through dedicated cable clip portholes into each device shelf, locking them securely in place. This design prevents cables from being pulled out when removing devices, and protects against damage and disorganisation.
Made from high-density materials and tested to commercial-grade furniture standards, both cabinets are built to withstand high-impact use. Weight-bearing L-shaped feet lift the cabinet for better airflow and easy cleaning, while the top rear overhang allows the unit to sit flush against a wall without blocking ventilation. They ship fully assembled and are tested to comply with Healthcare Infection Control Procedures and certified by UL for safety.
