Introducing the Mission LX-4 MKII floorstanding studio speakers

The Mission LX-4 MKII is a pair of floorstanding speakers designed to deliver a fuller, more room-filling sound, making them well suited to school studios, classrooms and larger teaching environments. Supplied as a stereo pair, they offer increased scale and presence while maintaining a clear and balanced sound that works well for everyday educational use.

Dual bass drivers for greater depth and coverage

Equipped with two 5" composite fibre bass drivers, the LX-4 MKII is designed to produce a fuller low-end with improved control. The bass reflex cabinet supports this further, helping extend bass response and provide wider coverage in larger rooms, making them suitable for group listening and teaching spaces.

Clear, balanced sound for playback and teaching

A 25 mm soft dome tweeter handles the high frequencies, delivering a clean and controlled top end. Combined with the dual bass drivers, this results in a balanced overall sound that supports a wide range of music, making it suitable for playback, demonstration and general classroom use.

Inverted driver layout and solid cabinet design

Mission’s inverted driver geometry places the tweeter below the bass drivers to help improve integration between frequencies. Alongside this, refinements such as updated driver surrounds and an optimised crossover contribute to a smoother response, while the internally braced cabinet helps reduce unwanted resonance and ensures consistent performance in education settings.
