The Korg CA-2 Chromatic Tuner is a modern update of a long-standing tuning standard, trusted by brass bands, orchestras and instrumentalists of all levels. With its refreshed design, enlarged display and clear needle-style meter, the CA-2 delivers fast, accurate tuning with the simplicity and reliability Korg is known for, making it equally suited to beginners, ensemble players and everyday practice.
Korg’s needle-style meter provides quick, accurate pitch recognition, with a note and string name display that is significantly larger for improved readability. Integrated red and green LEDs clearly indicate pitch deviation, allowing confident tuning at a glance.
Covering a broad pitch range from A0 to C8, the CA-2 supports wind, string, keyboard and many other instruments. Its high-sensitivity built-in microphone ensures reliable response, with optional compatibility for the CM-200 contact microphone for direct vibration pickup.
Adjustable calibration from 410 to 480Hz allows precise tuning to different concert pitches. Dedicated meter markings for pure major and minor thirds help ensemble players achieve cleaner, more balanced harmonies when tuning chords.
Alongside visual tuning, the CA-2 offers a Sound Out mode that produces reference tones from C4 to C5 via the built-in speaker. An efficient design provides up to 200 hours of continuous use on alkaline batteries, ensuring dependable performance over extended periods.
