The K&M 2-piece telescopic boom arm is designed to extend the positioning range of a microphone while maintaining a secure connection to a compatible microphone stand. The telescopic design allows the boom length to be adjusted to suit different microphone placements, making it suitable for recording, broadcast and live sound applications.
Manufactured from steel, the boom arm features K&M's T-bar locking screw and swivel joint, allowing the angle and extension to be adjusted independently. Once positioned, the locking mechanism is designed to hold the boom securely, even when supporting heavier microphones.
The two-piece telescopic construction allows the boom arm to be extended from 420mm to 730mm. This provides greater flexibility when positioning microphones without changing the location of the microphone stand.
K&M's T-bar locking screw works with the swivel joint to provide secure adjustment of both the boom angle and extension. The mechanism is designed to maintain its position during use.
The boom arm is manufactured from steel and is fitted with a standard 3/8in threaded connector for compatibility with microphone clips and accessories using the same thread size.
