The Kawai K300 AURES-2 upright piano truly completes the divide between the organic expressiveness of an acoustic piano and the convenient, advanced functionality of a digital instrument. Sharing the same digital technology as the popular Kawai ATX4 Anytime silent models, the K300 AURES-2 adds a built-in sound system so that the digital aspects of the instrument can be heard without the requirement of headphones.

Using specially designed transducers, the digital sound is amplified using the natural wood components of the piano's soundboard. This not only allows the piano to be played in 'digital mode', but also gives the opportunity for mixing the digital tones with the pure acoustic voice of the piano. Imagine being able to play the acoustic piano, but hear the beautiful sound of a string orchestra following your every note - you can do it with the K300 AURES-2 piano!

Premium quality components

The soundboard and ribs are considered the most important sound producing components of a piano, with both the materials used and the manner in which they are assembled greatly affecting volume and tonal quality. The K-300 soundboard is produced using the finest quality straight-grained spruce, carefully selected and scientifically tested to exceed KAWAI’s demanding resonance standards, ensuring exceptional dynamic range and outstanding tonal balance across the entire sound spectrum.

Superior touch and reliability

The K-300 features the specially developed Millennium III ABS-Carbon upright piano action, combining carbon fibre with ABS to produce a lightweight yet incredibly strong and reliable mechanism. To improve the action’s climatic stability, KAWAI pioneered the use of aluminium action rails, aluminium hammer rest rails and ABS action parts – addressing many of the problems associated with wooden components, such as breakage under continual high stress, and shrinking/swelling due to changes in temperature and humidity.

Integrated Bluetooth audio & MIDI connectivity

In addition to standard MIDI jacks for connecting to other instruments, the AnyTimeX4 models also boast integrated Bluetooth MIDI and Audio technology that allows the instrument to communicate with supported smart devices wirelessly. Once connected to a phone, tablet, or laptop, AnyTimeX4 model owners can enjoy a wide variety of exciting music related apps that enhance their learning and playing experience, or stream audio from songs and videos through the headphones without any additional cables.
