The JP078 is a mini Bb tuba made entirely from yellow brass. It’s got 2 waterkeys, 3 piston valves, a 14" bell, and a reinforced bell ring. It also has a rose brass leadpipe that easily delivers an attractive tone, encouraging students to practice. At 33" tall, this instrument looks more like a euphonium, but it features all the components found in larger tubas and performs just as well as more expensive models.

What fantastic customer service! When my John Packer Mini Tuba arrived, I realised I had made a huge error in underestimating its size and weight 😱. Sadly there was no way I could carry it upstairs to my practice room or would be able to transport it to band practice. I realised I was going to have to return it 😔 I spoke to Charlie, who was incredibly kind and helpful ( and very un-judgy!) and he arranged for a courier to come and collect it the next day. A full refund ( minus the delivery and return fee, naturally) arrived in my bank account a couple of days later. I can highly recommend their service, thank you ☺️
