How our reviews work

  • A few days after your order ships we'll email you a link to leave a review. When your feedback is published it will carry a Customer verified badge, so others know it came from a real order with us.
  • We only ever edit a review to remove profanity, spam, or personal details - otherwise it's published exactly as written, good or bad. We won’t ever remove or edit critical ones.
  • You don't need to have bought a product from us to review it - if you know the product, we want you to let other shoppers know what you honestly think, using the form on the product page. These are moderated in the same way, but won't carry our Customer verified badge.

  • Product information
Nice arrangement from the 1986 Phase II cassette Pan Rising. Room for soloist. Since the instrumentation of the steel drum orchestra has not yet been standardised, instrument names and ranges may vary from band to band. If you find any notes that are not within the range of your pans, please play them up or down an octave when necessary.

About the composer: Born and raised on the island of Trinidad, Len 'Boogsie' Sharpe became involved with pan at a very early age and is now considered to be one of the most talented and controversial composers and arrangers of steelband music. He has been labelled both innovative and controversial for incorporating jazz and blues elements into this traditional calypso style. As a steel drum performer he has led the way in expanding and exploring the potential of the instrument and for his remarkable ability to compose and improvise he is know as the Mozart of the steelpan
