The Yamaha YCL-255 is a brilliant first clarinet designed for beginners. Its durable ABS resin body, strong keywork and reliable tone make it a practical choice for learning and regular practice. This pre-owned instrument offers an opportunity to buy a Yamaha student clarinet at a lower cost than a new model.
The YCL-255 features a matte ABS resin body that is durable and less sensitive to changes in humidity than a wooden clarinet.
The adjustable thumb rest helps players find a comfortable hand position, while the strap ring provides an additional support option. With 17 keys and 6 rings, the clarinet uses the standard Boehm fingering system.
At Chamberlain Music, we carefully assess our pre-owned instruments before offering them for sale. Where needed, instruments are cleaned, adjusted and prepared for their next owner.
Pre-owned instruments may show some cosmetic signs of previous use. Please refer to the product photographs and condition information for details of this particular clarinet, including any noted wear, faults or missing accessories.
This pre-owned Yamaha YCL-255 comes with a mouthpiece, ligature and case, along with a shoulder strap for easier carrying and a cleaning swab for routine care.
Chamberlain Music is an approved supplier for the DfE Musical Instruments, Equipment, & Technology Framework.
