The MMX Student cello is the ideal choice for advanced students or young professional cellists on a budget as it represents unrivalled value for money. Each instrument is carved by hand in the MMX workshop to exacting standards. The cello has a spruce top with a two-piece maple back and sides and is finished with an oil varnish to provide optimum protection and an attractive sheen whilst allowing the natural qualities of the wood to show through. The instrument is fitted with ebony fittings and an integrated tailpiece as well as quality strings which give a warm tone.
We pride ourselves in only stocking the highest quality at Chamberlain Music. Although second-hand instruments may have some small cosmetic signs of use, this is of no detriment to the quality construction and the dependable, balanced tone of the cello.
