This brilliant jazz standard was first released in 1962 on Herbie Hancock's debut album 'Takin' Off'. Since then, Watermelon Man has been recorded by numerous artists including Quincy Jones, Albert King and Carla Cook. It has recently been performed by Stevie Wonder at Bestival. Watermelon Man would be a great addition to any jazz concert.
