How our reviews work

  • A few days after your order ships we'll email you a link to leave a review. When your feedback is published it will carry a Customer verified badge, so others know it came from a real order with us.
  • We only ever edit a review to remove profanity, spam, or personal details - otherwise it's published exactly as written, good or bad. We won’t ever remove or edit critical ones.
  • You don't need to have bought a product from us to review it - if you know the product, we want you to let other shoppers know what you honestly think, using the form on the product page. These are moderated in the same way, but won't carry our Customer verified badge.

Introducing the Galileo Q10 Console Composer Digital Piano

The Galileo Q10 is a versatile console digital piano designed for practice, performance and composition. Its compact cabinet and black satin finish give it a smart, understated appearance, while the included matching duet bench provides useful storage for sheet music and accessories.

Combining an 88-note graded hammer action keyboard with a wide selection of sounds, rhythms and recording features, the Q10 is suitable for players at a range of levels. It provides the touch and control needed for developing piano technique, alongside functions that support individual lessons, classroom activities, ensemble work and creative music-making.

A 4.3-inch full-colour LCD screen provides straightforward access to the piano’s sounds, settings and recording tools, helping students, teachers and home users move easily between its different functions.

A wide selection of sounds and features

The Galileo Q10 includes 141 selectable instrument voices, 128 General MIDI voices and 100 rhythm styles. These provide plenty of scope for piano study, arranging, composition and exploring a variety of musical styles.

Digital reverb and chorus effects can be adjusted through the control panel, while the 10-band graphical equaliser allows the overall sound to be tailored to the room or playing situation. Duet mode divides the keyboard into two matching pitch ranges, allowing a teacher and student to play side by side during lessons.

Graded hammer action keyboard

The Q10 features an 88-key graded hammer action keyboard with ivory-feel keytops, providing a responsive and familiar playing surface for pianists. Adjustable touch sensitivity settings allow the keyboard response to be set to soft, normal, hard or fixed, making it suitable for different playing styles and stages of development.

Its 128-note polyphony supports sustained passages, layered sounds and more complex arrangements without notes being cut off prematurely. The integrated four-speaker system is powered by 2 x 60W amplification, providing clear stereo sound for home practice, teaching rooms, rehearsal spaces and smaller performance settings.

Two headphone connections allow quiet practice and are also useful during lessons, enabling a teacher and student to listen together without using the internal speakers.

Recording, composition and practice tools

A built-in four-track recording system allows performances and compositions to be recorded in separate parts. Recordings can be stored and reviewed later, making the Q10 useful for composition projects, coursework, practice assessment and monitoring a student’s progress.

An SD card slot provides additional storage, while USB, MIDI and Bluetooth connectivity allow the piano to be used with compatible computers, mobile devices, music software and external audio sources. The Q10 also includes 55 built-in play-along songs for practice and lesson activities.

Useful controls for lessons and performance

The Q10 includes an adjustable metronome with a tempo range of 40 to 240 beats per minute, along with tempo and transposition controls. These functions are useful for technical practice, accompaniment work and adapting music for different singers or instrumentalists.

Separate master and accompaniment volume controls make it easy to balance the keyboard sound against rhythms or backing parts. A microphone input also allows the Q10 to be used for singing, classroom demonstrations and accompanied performance activities.

Flexible connectivity

The Galileo Q10 includes two headphone jacks, a microphone input, audio input and output connections, USB, MIDI input and output, Bluetooth and an SD card slot. This range of connections makes it suitable for use with recording equipment, computers, mobile devices, external speakers and other MIDI instruments.

Console cabinet and three-pedal unit

The compact console cabinet gives the Q10 the appearance and playing position of a traditional upright piano without taking up excessive space. Its black satin finish is suitable for homes, schools, colleges, teaching studios and rehearsal rooms.

A three-pedal unit provides sustain, sostenuto and soft pedal functions, with assignable controls for additional flexibility. The matching duet bench includes built-in storage and completes the practical console setup.

A versatile piano for home and education

With its graded hammer action keyboard, clear amplification, lesson-friendly duet mode and extensive recording and connectivity options, the Galileo Q10 is well suited to home musicians, students, teachers and educational settings. It provides the core features required for piano study while also supporting composition, accompaniment, recording and group music activities.
