The G811 Easy-Fit A frame provides a secure and practical way to move a grand piano while helping to protect the instrument and maintain tuning stability. Fitted with brakes for additional stability, the frame is fully adjustable and designed to fit virtually any grand piano within the selected size range. We stock the frames for different piano sizes:
The A frame is particularly useful in schools, theatres, churches and other venues where a grand piano needs to be repositioned regularly. Its Easy-Fit design allows the piano's existing castors to remain in place, while the frame's durable double castors make moving the instrument considerably easier.
Each leg of the grand piano slots into a dedicated compartment within the frame, with the frame then secured by tightening the bolts. There is no need to remove the piano's existing castors or make modifications to the instrument, making installation straightforward once the piano has been safely lifted into position.
Three durable double castors are fitted to each leg, allowing the grand piano to be moved with considerably less effort. This makes the G811 particularly practical for venues where the piano needs to be repositioned frequently.
The integrated brakes provide additional stability once the piano has been positioned. The frame also helps support the piano when it is being moved, helping to protect the structure of the instrument and retain overall tuning stability.
Although designed to be very easy to fit, the piano does required lifting into the frame. Pianos are, of course, extremely heavy so do please call our piano department on 01483 647 593 should you require a quote to fit the 'A' frame to your piano.

Sturdy frame made, the most competitive price I found for this model, and easy to assemble and fit (with the help of a couple of rugby players). Delivered incredibly promptly, as previous orders have been - only slight qualification is that I was not notified of dispatch/delivery date so wasn't expecting it and it had to be re-delivered.
Excellent service by ChamberlainMusic, price better than other suppliers, and A-frame promptly delivered direct from manufacturer. Very easy to fit provided that the paino can be carefully and safely lifted. Piano certainly moves more easily than on the original castors. Normal price seems a bit high for what the frame comprises, but I guess this reflects low volume production on an item that should not need replacing.
