The Roland FP-40 combines expressive piano sound, a responsive weighted keyboard and a range of connected features in a slim, portable design. With Roland's Piano Reality Sound Engine, PHA-4 Standard keyboard and enhanced built-in speakers, the FP-40 is designed to provide a natural and expressive playing experience at home or wherever you choose to play.

Available in Black and White, the FP-40 also features Bluetooth Audio/MIDI, Wi-Fi and USB-C connectivity, along with integration with Roland's Piano Sphere learning platform.

The FP-40 uses Roland's Piano Reality Sound Engine, combining premium sampled sounds with selected modelling technologies from Roland's higher-end instruments. The result is a detailed piano sound with smooth response, natural resonance and rich dynamics.

An enhanced built-in speaker system with a newly designed layout delivers clear, spacious sound with increased depth and richness in the lower register.

Learn and Progress with Piano Sphere

The FP-40 integrates with Piano Sphere, a learning platform developed with Skoove that offers personalised guidance, real-time feedback and a library of musical content.

Piano Sphere includes three free courses covering theory, technique and sight-reading, along with 100 songs available from day one. An optional content upgrade provides access to more than 1,000 additional songs and lessons.

Flexible Connectivity

Bluetooth Audio and MIDI make it easy to connect smartphones and tablets, while USB-C provides USB MIDI and audio connectivity. The FP-40 also features built-in Wi-Fi for use with connected features and apps.

The FP-40 has a slim chassis designed to fit comfortably into compact spaces. At 14 kg with the music rest attached, it is easy to accommodate in different rooms and playing environments.

For a more traditional piano setup, the FP-40 is compatible with the optional KSF-40 dedicated stand and KPD-70 dedicated pedal board.
