The Fender California Deluxe Redondo is an electro-acoustic guitar developed from more than a decade of refinement within Fender's California Series. Combining contemporary construction with bold acoustic performance, it is designed to deliver a confident, balanced sound whether you're practising, recording or performing. Its full-size dreadnought body produces impressive projection and presence, making it equally suited to smaller spaces and larger venues.

A solid Sitka spruce top is paired with laminated mahogany back and sides to create a warm, articulate tone with excellent clarity. Fender's scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and responsiveness, giving the instrument a lively acoustic voice with plenty of dynamic range. Finished with phosphor bronze strings, the California Deluxe Redondo™ delivers a rich, full-bodied sound straight from the first note.

Solid Sitka spruce construction

The solid Sitka spruce top provides clear projection and definition, while the laminated mahogany back and sides add warmth and depth to the overall sound. Combined with Fender's scalloped X-bracing, this construction creates a balanced tonal character that responds well across a wide range of playing styles.

Comfortable satin-finished neck

The satin-finished mahogany neck features Fender's comfortable C-shaped profile with a 12in fingerboard radius and vintage-style frets. This combination provides a familiar playing feel that supports both chord work and lead playing, while the satin finish allows smooth hand movement along the neck.

Reliable hardware

Vintage-inspired split-shaft tuning machines combine classic styling with modern tuning stability, providing smooth and accurate adjustments while making string changes straightforward. A Micarta nut and saddle promote consistent string-to-string vibration transfer, helping the guitar produce an even, balanced response.
