Analogue fuzz pedal
The Fender The Pelt V2 is an analogue fuzz pedal designed to deliver everything from classic vintage-style fuzz to aggressive, octave-infused textures. Built around a silicon transistor circuit with a buffer-friendly input stage, it combines traditional fuzz controls with an expanded range of tone-shaping options, allowing players to tailor the character, attack and response of the effect. Suitable for both guitar and bass, the pedal offers a versatile approach to modern fuzz while retaining the character of classic analogue designs.
Alongside the familiar Fuzz, Tone and Level controls, The Pelt V2 introduces Bloom and Sag controls, which adjust how the fuzz reacts to your playing. Bloom shapes the attack and sustain of each note, while Sag alters the power response to create everything from a smooth, controlled sound to a sputtering, gated-style fuzz. Dedicated Mid and Thick switches provide further EQ shaping, allowing the pedal to be voiced for different instruments, amplifiers and playing styles.
Advanced fuzz shaping
The silicon transistor circuit provides a wide range of fuzz sounds, while the Bloom and Sag controls offer detailed control over the pedal's response. Together, these controls make it possible to fine-tune the feel and texture of the effect beyond conventional fuzz designs.
Octave and Chaos modes
A dedicated footswitch activates Octave mode for a traditional octave-up fuzz effect or Chaos mode for an asymmetrical octave effect with glitch-like, sputtering characteristics. These additional voices significantly expand the pedal's tonal range without requiring external effects.
Flexible pedalboard integration
The Pelt V2 includes a Blend control for mixing clean and effected signals, making it particularly effective with bass or when preserving note definition. Selectable true or buffered bypass, relay-based auto-bypass and Multiswitch compatibility provide additional flexibility, while top-mounted input and output jacks help maximise pedalboard space.
