The Hercules TravLite DS460B is a compact flute stand designed to provide stable support without taking up additional space in an instrument case. Its lightweight, one-piece design folds down into a compact form that can be stored inside the flute's footjoint, making it particularly useful for musicians, teachers and students who need a stand that is easy to carry.
Despite its compact size, the DS460B provides a solid base for the instrument when set up. The velvet-covered base provides a protective contact surface for the flute, while the simple folding design allows the stand to be set up quickly and packed away just as easily.
The DS460B has been designed specifically for compact storage inside the flute's footjoint. Once folded, the stand takes up very little space, allowing it to remain with the instrument without requiring additional room in the case. This makes it a practical choice for musicians who regularly transport their flute.
Weighing just 0.1kg, the TravLite stand adds very little weight to an instrument setup. Its 165mm base radius provides a stable footprint when the stand is assembled, while the one-piece construction allows it to be set up quickly when the flute needs to be put down.
The stand features a velvet-covered base designed to protect the finish of the flute where it rests against the stand. The combination of protective contact material and a solid base provides secure support while helping to reduce the risk of marking the instrument during normal use.
