Introducing the Boss D1-1 direct box

The Boss DI-1 Direct Box is the perfect tool for connecting your guitar to professional live and studio equipment. With this high-quality direct box, you will get the clearest sound possible when plugging into a mixing desk or recording interface.

With multiple output options this DI box lets you split your signal, so it can go both to your amp and to a PA system. Along with phase reversal and ground lift switches, an adjustable input level through three switches gives you have full control over the sound going to the sound engineer.

Ideal for guitar performances

When gigging, you need a DI box you can rely on. A DI box changes your instrument's unbalanced, high impedance signal into a low-impedance, balanced signal that can be used by professional equipment.

Use it with an acoustic guitar to achieve the best sound possible when plugged into a PA system. Or use it in the studio to capture dry electric guitar tracks than can be run through amp sims. Thanks to its excellent frequency response this DI box will always let the tone of your instrument shine through much more than when using a conventional transformer.

Adjusting your sound

The various switching options on the Boss DI-1 makes it a useful tool for many scenarios. With multiple outputs you can easily split your signal, so it can go to both your amp and to sound engineer at a live gig. A phase switch lets you flip the polarity of the signal, to make it work well with other sources, and the ground lift switch helps prevent unwanted noise when connecting to problematic sources.

All of these professional features are brought together in a sturdy, compact, rugged package that is perfect for the professional musician.
