The Laney Digbeth DB-PRE is designed to give you the freedom to take your bass sound with you, anywhere that you go. Featuring both FET and Tube signal paths and incredible tone shaping capabilities, as well as comprehensive ins/outs, the DB-PRE functions as your main standalone bass tone as well as part of any existing bass ring. The DB-PRE pre amplifier pedal is perfect for the versatile bass player who wishes to have complete control over their sound.
The tilt is a dynamic, powerful SEE SAW EQ control with a central neutral position. Turning the control clockwise increases the overall mid to high frequencies and decreases the lows, giving your sound more presence, which is very useful for cutting through live band situations. Turning the control anti clockwise reduces the overall mid to high frequencies and increases the lows making your overall sound rounder.
The FX loops allow you to add effects to the signal path in a specific place between the pre-amp and the output section on an amplifier. This is where the FX loops are very important as it allows you to put time-based FX after the distorted pre-amp section.
There is also a headphone socket, 3 band EQ, FET volume, 2 channels and high-quality switching components, giving you all the affects you need to make the most of your bass guitar. To avoid any switching noise when activating a product, the DB-PRE features a switching system that is totally silent in operation. The only thing you should here is a great sounding product.
