Elements includes the songwriting helpers you’ll actually use: Chord Pads, Chord Track and Scale Assistant to spark ideas, plus Retrospective Record so you never lose a take. Record multiple tracks with Steinberg’s 64-bit audio engine, edit timing with AudioWarp, and tighten performances with intuitive comping and Event Volume tools.
Start quickly with Groove Agent SE 6, HALion Sonic and a selection of bundled instruments and loops — Elements ships with a substantial content library (20GB+ of sounds and loops) that includes new drum kits, Songstarter packs and fresh Chord Pad presets to kick ideas into life.
The redesigned Hub speeds project startup with previews, searchable templates and audio setup tools; new automation shortcuts (“Last Touched First”) make quick edits effortless; and Quick Export gets your mixes out fast. Track Controls let you add volume and pan straight to the arrange view for speedy mix moves. macOS users also benefit from pinch-to-zoom and native full-screen support.
Cubase Elements gains a number of the new Cubase 15 creative updates — the refreshed Pattern Editor and new melodic/sequencing tools (ideal for quick basslines and melodic ideas), Hot Swap browsing in the Sampler Track, and Omnivocal (beta) for experimenting with vocal synthesis. Elements also supports SpectraLayers ARA components for basic spectral editing workflows. (Note: advanced SpectraLayers Pro features and Pro-only plugins such as the full Stem Separation or UltraShaper dynamics processor are not part of the Elements bundle.)
