Boulies NUBI chair

The Boulies NUBI is a compact ergonomic office chair designed to provide comfortable, adjustable seating without taking up unnecessary space. Its mid-back design, contoured backrest and adjustable seat depth make it well suited to home offices, music studios and other workspaces where users may spend extended periods at a desk.

With a weight-synchronised reclining mechanism, BioCurve cold-cure foam seat and breathable UNO fabric upholstery, the NUBI combines supportive seating with a clean, compact design. Height-adjustable armrests, adjustable seat height and a heavy-duty gas lift provide further flexibility, while the sturdy five-star base and 360 degree swivel allow easy movement around the workspace.

Compact design for studios and workspaces

The NUBI has been designed with smaller work areas in mind, making it a practical choice where space around a desk, keyboard or music equipment is limited. Its mid-back profile and compact five-star base keep the overall footprint manageable without removing the adjustments expected from a full-size ergonomic chair.

The attachable armrests provide additional flexibility when setting up the chair. Once fitted, they can be adjusted to provide comfortable arm support at different desk heights, while the detachable design allows the NUBI to be used without armrests when a more open seating position is preferred. The 360 degree swivel makes it easy to move between a computer, keyboard, mixing equipment or other equipment without repeatedly getting up.

Contoured backrest and adjustable recline

The contoured backrest follows the natural curve of the spine and uses a weight-synchronised mechanism for a smooth reclining action. The backrest offers up to 21 degrees of movement and can be locked at three levels, allowing the chair to be adjusted between more upright working and relaxed positions.

The adjustable seat depth allows the seat to slide forwards or backwards, helping users find a comfortable position with appropriate support beneath the legs. The NUBI has a seat height range of 43.5–54.5cm and is recommended by Boulies for users around 160–190cm tall.

BioCurve foam and durable fabric

The seat uses Boulies BioCurve cold-cure foam, which is designed to distribute pressure across the seating area and provide consistent support during longer periods of use. Boulies specifies the chair for working periods of up to eight hours a day.

The NUBI is upholstered in Boulies UNO fabric, a breathable polymer material tested to withstand more than 80,000 abrasion cycles. This gives the chair a durable surface for everyday use while retaining a soft feel. It is available in Charcoal and Beige finishes.
