Blackstar Beam Mini guitar amplifier and speaker
The Beam Mini is a compact desktop modelling amplifier designed for guitarists, bassists and acoustic players who want a versatile practice setup without taking up much space. Combining detailed amplifier modelling with immersive stereo sound, Bluetooth audio playback and app-based control, it provides a flexible solution for practising, playing along with music and recording at home.
With a selection of electric guitar amp models, bass and acoustic voices, and over 35 effects, the Beam Mini makes it easy to explore different tones from a single unit. Its compact design houses two full-range speaker drivers and dual passive radiators, delivering a wide stereo sound for both instrument playback and music listening. USB-C connectivity also allows the amplifier to function as an audio interface for recording directly to a computer.
Versatile amplifier modelling
The Beam Mini offers a range of amplifier models for electric guitar, bass and acoustic instruments, allowing players to switch between different tonal characteristics without needing multiple amplifiers. Its component-level digital modelling is designed to recreate the feel and response of traditional amplifiers, while the patented ISF control provides additional tonal adjustment. Neural Amp Modeler (NAM) compatibility also allows users to access and load compatible amplifier captures, expanding the range of available sounds.
Immersive sound and headphone practice
Two full-range drivers and dual passive radiators produce a broad stereo sound from the compact cabinet, making the Beam Mini useful for everyday practice and Bluetooth music playback. Blackstar's CabRig technology uses impulse responses to simulate speaker cabinets and microphones, while its 'In the Room' technology recreates the experience of playing through an amplifier when using headphones. A 3.5mm headphone output supports quieter practice, and the headset microphone input allows compatible headsets to be connected.
App control, effects and recording
The Blackstar Beam app provides access to additional amplifier and effects options, alongside patch editing and tone sharing. Onboard SpeedDial controls and the illuminated Beam display allow quick adjustments directly on the unit, while XpressFX makes it possible to control multiple effect parameters using a single dial. Bluetooth connectivity supports wireless audio streaming for playing along with backing tracks, and the USB-C audio interface enables direct recording to a computer.
