Introducing the Majestic Concert Bells glockenspiel – 2.6 octaves

Newly developed in 2025, these Majestic Concert Bells feature an extended 2.6-octave range (F5 - D8), adding four notes. The 34 precisely tuned, single-pinned steel bars produce a warm and resonant tone that puts expression in the hands of the player, while blending well in ensemble setups. The B526S bells offer greater expression and versatility in both practice and performance.

Crafted with high-carbon steel bars, this glockenspiel deliver both durability and a refined tone quality. Each of the bars is precision-engineered, with a width of 32 mm and thickness of 9.5 mm, ensuring consistent projection and clarity across the entire 2.6-octave range. The single-pinned mounting system, paired with straight rails, provides stability while allowing the bars to resonate freely, creating a bright yet warm sound ideal for orchestral, ensemble, or solo performance.

Designed with practicality in mind, the MJB526S includes a regular-height resonance box that balances portability with rich acoustic response. Supplied with a pair of mallets, the instrument is ready to play straight from the case. Measuring 857 x 552 x 95 mm and weighing 22.15 kg, this model offers a robust yet manageable solution for players seeking a professional-quality glockenspiel that meets the demands of practice, rehearsal, and stage performance alike.

Two carrying handles for easier transport

Majestic also included side handles for easier transport making it more versatile and user-friendly for educational and performance settings. The wooden case features two side handles to make transport easier for younger players. The redesigned case structure effectively reduces unwanted noise and achieves an even greater level of resonance of the bars. Whether performing or practicing, the B526S is built to support percussionists with clarity, character, and the inspiration of expanded possibilities.

About Majestic

Majestic is a brand of thoughtfully designed instruments for the professional, the educator, and today’s percussion student utilizing carefully constructed ideas born from both traditional percussion instrument heritage and a culture of innovation. The family firm was founded in 1921, supplying organs, pianos and wind instruments with the production of percussion following shortly after.

In 1960 the Majestic brand name was introduced, starting with drum kits which were prevalent among rock bands in the Netherlands. Orchestral and marching percussion soon became the corner stone of the brand, with timpani, marching drum and tuned percussion becoming areas of speciality for Majestic.

To this day product development, engineering, and production are overseen by family members and every model must adhere to stringent standards of craftsmanship and performance.
