Flexi Glue Ultra is a high‑tack adhesive designed to securely fix acoustic panels to walls and ceilings. Its non‑aggressive, solvent‑free formula is safe for use with a wide range of Vicoustic materials including polyurethane foam and EPS panels, helping ensure reliable adhesion without damaging delicate surfaces. Flexi Glue Ultra has strong initial tack and versatile performance across many substrates, making it a practical choice for professional acoustic installations.
Preparation and use are straightforward: surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust or grease. The adhesive is applied from the tube directly to the panel’s reverse, leaving an edge margin, and panels should be pressed firmly into position within minutes of application. This makes Flexi Glue Ultra suitable for both single panel placement and larger treatment schemes where a discreet, glue‑only solution is needed.
Before application, ensure the surfaces to be bonded are dry, clean, and free from dust and grease for the best result.
Cut the tip of the glue nozzle at a 45º angle using a box cutter. Apply the glue on the back of the acoustic panel using a pressure gun, leaving a margin of 4 to 5 cm between the glue line and the panel edges. Do not wait longer than 10 minutes after applying the glue to attach the panel to the surface.
Place the panel in the desired position on the wall or ceiling and press firmly for at least 15 seconds to ensure a secure bond.
The thickness of the glue layer will depend on the consistency of the materials being bonded. Apply the glue evenly either manually or using pressure guns. Join the surfaces immediately after application for optimal adhesion.
