Designed for music production, live performance and creative sound design. Combining an upgraded mini-key keybed with MPC-style performance pads, assignable controls and an informative colour display, it gives musicians hands-on control over their software and hardware instruments in a compact format.
With an expanded arpeggiator, chord and note repeat functions, the MPK Mini Plus II helps musicians develop musical ideas and experiment with different patterns and rhythms. Its range of connections supports integration with a computer-based production setup, external MIDI instruments and modular equipment, making it a versatile controller for both studio work and live performance.
The 37-key keyboard controller provides a three-octave playing range, giving musicians more room to develop melodies and chord progressions than smaller controllers. Eight velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB MPC pads support finger drumming, triggering samples and launching clips, while the pitch bend and modulation wheels provide additional expressive control. Eight assignable rotary knobs allow users to adjust software parameters directly from the controller.
The MPK Mini Plus II includes expanded arpeggiator, chord and note repeat functions to help musicians create rhythmic patterns and build arrangements. Additional Glitch, Mutate and Strum functions provide ways to manipulate patterns and explore variations without programming every note manually. The full-colour LCD provides visual feedback, helping users monitor settings while working with the controller.
USB-C connects the MPK Mini Plus II to a computer and supplies power, with support for USB bus power or a suitable external power source. MIDI In and DIN MIDI Out allow integration with compatible external instruments, while three CV/Gate outputs provide connections for compatible modular synthesizers and other hardware. A sustain pedal input supports more expressive keyboard playing, and integration with MPC Desktop, MPC Standalone and popular DAWs makes it suitable for a range of production workflows.
The MPK Mini Plus II comes with MPC Beats, Native Instruments Komplete Select (Akai Edition) and the Studio Instrument Collection, which includes over 1,000 production-ready sounds from AIR Music Tech, Moog Music and AKAI Professional. This software bundle gives musicians a range of instruments and sounds to start producing music, build arrangements and develop their own productions.
