The synthetic head is designed to pull the highest quality sound from the Meinl Artisan doumbek. From low doum strokes to snapping teks and finger rolls, the response from this head is effortless and clean.
This single-headed Egyptian hand drum can be used for jam sessions, studio recordings, and performances. It’s played with the hands while sitting or standing, and the ergonomic shape of this instrument allows for extended playing. A tuning key is also included for quick tuning.
