This was sent as a replacement for faulty plastic Swanee whistle and it serves my purpose as a comic sound effort well. It's robust and fairly easy to get a reliable sound out of, but it does have to be blown fairly hard so no sutle pp effects! Certainly would recommend for cheap and cheerful novelty sound. I also appreciated Chamberlain's customer service it was excellent, full marks for them.
