Introducing the Zoom H6E essential handy recorder

The Zoom H6E handy recorder offers accessible 32-bit float recording across six tracks. Designed for filmmakers, creators, podcasters, and musiscians, the H6E epitomised versatility and high-fidelity audio capture. With its quat XLR/TRS inputs, the H6E allows for the simultaneous use of multipe microphones, ensuring that every nuance of sound is captured with clarity.

The H6E, as part of Zoom's essential (e) series, is the first set of audio recorders with built-in audio descriptiosn for menu navigation. Listen through built-in speakers or headphones with speech available in 7 languages. Zoom's essential series also includes the H1E and H4E.

Superbly versatile recording capabilities

With 6-track 32-bit float and dual AD converters the H6E captures huge dynamic range. This gives creators the ability to record perfect audio, clip-free every time, at up to a 96kHZ sample rate. The 4 XLR/TRS combo inputs feature ultra-clean Zoom preamps, and the included X/Y microphones can capture up to a booming 135 dB SPL, equivalent to a jet taking off. This allows you to record without having to spend loads of time and energy setting everything up, speeding your rehearsing, podcasting, or streaming process along.

For musicians the H6E is a portable studio. Mic up to 4 instruments using the XLR inputs and use the X/Y microphones to capture the full ensemble in beautiful stereo. For filmmakers, 32-bit float recording gives filmmakers confidence with every take. The interchangeable capsules, 4 XLR inputs and wireless timecode make the H6E invaluable on any set. For podcasters and radio producers, the H6E has you covered with 4 XLR inputs, meaning you'll never be caught short! Better still, the H6E has a waveform display so you can see your audio as it record, and for full control of your mix, hit the ‘Mixer’ button to quickly adjust your levels.

Pair with your iOS device to record remotely

Use the BTA-1 Bluetooth Adapter (not included) to pair with your iOS device to remotely hit record, adjust your mix, view your waveforms, and change settings. You can also pair with Bluetooth timecode devices for audio and video sync. Synching with Bluetooth timecode devices allows for seamless audio and video synchronization. This ensures that your audio matches up perfectly with your visuals, saving you time and effort in post-production.

Designed for genuine convenience

When the X/Y mic is not needed, detach the capsule and use the included cap for a low profile setup, increasing the adaptability of the H6E even more. Further functionality is provided by meticulously designed recording and rotary controls which allow for silent operation, as well as the improved onboard speaker to listen to your recordings for quick reference. Similarly the H6E features a line output to connect to a camera and the headphone output to monitor your audio, making this a brilliant 'on-the-go' tool.
