The CS40 is one of Yamaha’s most popular classical guitars. Its 3/4 size and 580mm scale length make it the perfect instrument for young beginner guitar players.
Made with a genuine rosewood fingerboard and bridge, the guitar provides a responsive and well balanced tone. The spruce top adds a bright, clear sound and helps to create a consistently powerful sound projection from the guitar. With meranti back and sides, the CS40 has excellent tonal qualities.
For the adult beginners, this guitar is also available in a full size option, the C40II. If you are looking for an electro-classical version, the CX40II retains many of the features of this guitar but with excellent built in electronics. For an upgrade in sound quality, the C70II features higher quality on the back and sides for added warmth and projection
