This 18" bebop drum kit is the smallest in the Comet series, but still packs plenty of punch and comes in a selection of sleek and vibrant colours.
The heart of the Comet Series lies in its 9 Ply, 7.2mm Poplar Shells, coupled with Mapex SONIClear Bearing Edges. Allowing the drumhead to sit flatter, SONIClear Bearing Edge gives better contact with the shell. The result of this combination is a stronger and deeper fundamental pitch, effortless and consistent tuning, and a significantly expanded tuning range.
