The Sennheiser ADP UHF is a passive directional antenna designed to support wireless microphone and audio systems operating across the 470MHz to 1075MHz UHF frequency range. It is designed for use with Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital systems and can be connected to compatible receivers, antenna boosters and antenna splitters.
Its directional design helps focus reception towards the intended coverage area, making it useful for wireless setups where antenna positioning and reliable RF coverage are important. With integrated mounting threads and a BNC connection, the antenna can be incorporated into fixed or temporary wireless installations without requiring a separate mounting bracket.
The ADP UHF covers 470MHz to 1075MHz, providing compatibility across a broad range of UHF operating frequencies. It has a typical gain of 5dBi, a front-to-back ratio greater than 14dB and an approximate 100° apex angle at -3dB. These characteristics make the antenna suitable for directional wireless reception where the antenna can be positioned towards the area in which transmitters are being used.
The antenna has a 50ohm impedance and uses a female BNC connection with no DC path. It can be connected directly to a compatible EW-D EM receiver or used as part of a larger antenna distribution system with compatible Sennheiser equipment.
Built-in 3/8in and 5/8in mounting threads allow the ADP UHF to be fitted directly to compatible microphone stands and other suitable mounting hardware. This provides a practical way to position the antenna above or away from other equipment, helping it achieve the required coverage for a wireless setup.
The compact antenna measures 319mm x 310mm, making it practical for use in wireless microphone systems where directional positioning is required. The supplied antenna can be used in professional audio, education, live performance and other environments using compatible UHF wireless equipment.
