Protect a full-size 4/4 cello during storage and transport with this polycarbonate cello case. The hard-shell construction provides a more robust alternative to a soft gig bag, the padded interior keeping the instrument securely positioned inside the case.
Polycarbonate is well suited to instrument cases because it combines low weight with good impact resistance, allowing a protective hard shell without the bulk associated with some heavier case materials. Similar polycarbonate cello cases use padded supports and internal securing points to keep the instrument stable during transport.
The rigid outer shell provides a protective barrier around the cello, helping to guard against knocks and impacts during everyday transportation. Polycarbonate is also considerably lighter than many traditional hard case materials, making it a useful choice when an instrument needs to be carried regularly and for longer durations.
Inside, the case provides a padded area for the cello, helping to prevent unnecessary movement while it is being transported. The shaped case design follows the general contours of a full-size cello, while the internal supports help keep the instrument positioned securely.
Able to be transported by a handle on it side or by using in the included straps to convert it into a backpack, to make longer distances easier and more ergonomic.
