The moulded ebonite body is finished in a wood-effect which gives the look of a higher end instrument with the added benefit that you can use it in any weather. This look is offset by brushed nickel keywork which, although slightly more dull than silver, is a reliable material on which to learn. The slick, responsive action of the mechanisms allows you to play up and down the instrument with ease, and its attractive silver-plate and wood-grain finish make the Elkhart 100CL look right at home in any ensemble.
