The parlour body is small in size and as a result is one of the most comfortable to play, meaning you can play for hours without any discomfort. The size also makes this guitar a perfect option for the travelling musician, without any expense to the tone. Although the guitar does have less volume, the sound produced is a soft, warm and sweet tone that you wouldn’t find in other larger-bodied guitars.
The laminated mahogany body provides tonal warmth and the spruce top adds a clear and balanced sound. The CP-60S has Fenders ‘easy to play’ neck with rolled fingerboard edges that players of all skill levels will enjoy. The guitar also features scalloped bracing, which is thinner than more conventional bracing, meaning the soundboard mass is reduced. This lets the top resonate more freely, resulting in better tone with more nuance and a greater projection.
