Full-bodied tones from two Alnico II humbuckers

The two Player Series Alnico II humbuckers deliver articulate highs, muscular mids and full lows. The three-position blade switch provides access to the neck pickup for warmer, rounded tones, the bridge pickup for a more forceful sound, or both pickups together for a balanced response. Master volume and tone controls make it straightforward to adjust your sound, while the humbucker configuration helps reduce unwanted electrical hum compared with traditional single-coil pickups.

A comfortable neck built for fluid playing

The maple neck features a Modern C profile and a satin urethane finish on the back for a smooth playing feel. Its 9.5-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard has rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets, providing a comfortable surface for chords, lead lines and bends. The 25.5-inch scale length retains the familiar feel of a full-size electric guitar, while the white dot inlays provide clear position markers along the fingerboard.

Reliable hardware with distinctive Fender styling

The alder body has a gloss polyester finish, available in Black or Aquatone Blue. Each finish has its own look, with the Black model featuring a three-ply black, white and black pickguard and the Aquatone Blue model using a three-ply parchment pickguard. Both guitars feature chrome-covered pickups, nickel/chrome hardware and Fender ClassicGear tuning machines. The six-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge uses bent steel saddles for individual string intonation adjustment and a stable playing setup.
