Fender Player II Telecaster left-handed electric guitar

The Fender Player II Telecaster left-handed brings the familiar sound and feel of a classic Telecaster to left-handed players. Its alder body, two Player Series Alnico V single-coil pickups and comfortable Modern C neck provide the foundations for the distinctive Telecaster sound, from clear, articulate clean tones to sharper, more driven sounds. Available in Polar White with a rosewood fingerboard or 3-Colour Sunburst with a maple fingerboard, both versions combine traditional styling with practical refinements for regular playing.

Classic Telecaster tones with Player Series pickups

The two Player Series Alnico V Tele single-coil pickups deliver the bright, articulate character associated with the Telecaster, with clear highs, defined mids and tight lows. The three-position blade switch lets you select the bridge pickup for a sharper, more cutting sound, the neck pickup for a rounder tone, or both pickups together for a balanced response. Master volume and tone controls provide straightforward adjustments to suit your playing.

A comfortable neck with a choice of fingerboard

The maple neck features a Modern C profile, designed to provide a comfortable playing feel, with a satin urethane finish on the back. The 9.5-inch-radius fingerboard has rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets, supporting comfortable chord work, lead playing and bends. Choose Polar White with a slab rosewood fingerboard, white position inlays and white side dots, or 3-Colour Sunburst with a maple fingerboard, black position inlays and black side dots. The neck finish also differs slightly between the two versions, with gloss urethane on the headstock face of the Polar White model and a gloss urethane finish on the front of the Sunburst model.

Traditional Telecaster design with dependable hardware

Both versions feature an alder body with a gloss polyester finish, a three-ply black, white and black pickguard, and nickel/chrome hardware. The six-saddle string-through-body bridge uses block steel saddles and allows individual string intonation adjustment, while Fender ClassicGear tuning machines provide smooth, precise tuning adjustments. With its familiar body shape, 25.5-inch scale length and straightforward layout, the Player II Telecaster retains the practical design that has made the Telecaster a mainstay of electric guitar playing.
