Based on the technology of the industry defining Yamaha Clavinova digital piano series, Yamaha Arius YDP digital pianos deliver authentic acoustic piano performance at an attractive price point. Each model features a full length keyboard with fully weighted, hammer action keys, three pedals as found on a Yamaha grand piano, and the crystal clear sound of the flagship Yamaha CFX concert grand piano. The specification is well thought out, with each model offering a host of helpful features including record and playback, a metronome, USB connectivity and a range of instrument voices.

Yamaha Arius YDP145 digital piano

The entry level YDP145 is a very popular choice with beginners or more advanced pianists with on a tight budget. Its GHS Graded Hammer Standard keyboard is the same as provided in the portable P series models, while the sound of Yamaha's CFX concert grand is enhanced with Virtual Resonance Modelling Lite for an authentic acoustic piano resonance. The top of the range Arius model and sitting one model below the Clavinova CLP725, the Yamaha Arius YDP165 benefits from enhanced features such as the ebony and ivory feel, Yamaha's GH3 key action with a third sensor and a larger amplification system for a richer and more grand-like tone. Specially designed vents on the back of the cabinet aid sound projection, creating a spatial, three dimensional sound, just like that of an acoustic piano.
