The Zoom HWS-6 is a hairy windscreen that easily slips right over a SGH-6 or SSH-6 shotgun microphone. It efficiently diffuses and reduces wind noise while remaining acoustically transparent when shooting outdoors in high-wind environments.
The lightweight windscreen fits securely over the microphone and can be fitted or removed quickly as recording conditions change. It is intended for use in outdoor environments where wind can affect recording quality.
The synthetic fur construction helps reduce wind noise before it reaches the microphone capsule, improving audio quality when recording outdoors.
