Introducing the Yamaha YTS280 student Bb tenor saxophone outfit

The Yamaha YTS280 saxophones provide beginners with reliable instrument to star playing on. They provide a characteristically bright sound with excellent intonation and some features usually only found on high-quality models.

Sturdy design and great features

The redesigned neck receiver promotes a quick response and ease of play while also increasing the durability of the mechanism. The improved low B-C# connection ensures consistent closing of the low C# key and promotes a clear response from notes in the low range of the instrument. For comfortable playing, the YTS280 features an adjustable thumb-rest which allows for a precise and comfortable hand and fingering position.

The instrument is relatively light-weight and ergonomically shaped, making it easy to hold and to play. The intonation is perfect, and it is easy to get a great sound. The design offers beginners optimum support, thus greatly assisting both the learning progress and creativity.

Good service, easy to order on the website and was delivered timely. The Saxophone was well packaged, however they're a small issue when unpacked. One of the lower key springs was not in place and prevented the key opening and closing correctly. I remedied this, by re-attaching the spring, which seemed to rectify the issue. The instrument plays well and is off good quality.
