Compatibility with the Yamaha L515 furniture style stand and LP1 pedal unit makes it a smart furniture piece for the home, while built-in speakers, MIDI connectivity and audio outputs also make it an excellent choice for performance – an ideal instrument for the gigging musician who requires a great action and sound quality and without space for two!
The GrandTouch-S keyboard offers an experience as close as possible to playing grand pianos. The keyboard accurately simulates tonal variation from subtle differences in how hard, quickly, and heavily you play, providing great variety and richness in the tone produced. Made of solid wood and a laminated structure, the keys are resistant to warping and exceptionally durable.
With the P-525 you can recreate you favourite songs with voices from organs, electric pianos and other keyed instruments. The voices have been precisely engineered to ensure the sounds produced are as faithful and high quality as possible, resulting in a realistic, immersive experience that makes you feel like you are actually playing those instruments.
The P-525 features the registration memory function allowing you to save and recall settings, which is very useful for when performing in live, intimate settings such as cafés, bars and other small venues. You can program all the voices and rhythms in the comfort of home and call them up at the venue when you are ready to play. You can also easily switch between voices in the middle of the song. Other useful features include Sound Boost and adjustable EQ to ensure that the piano can be heard when playing with other instruments in a band.
Using Bluetooth you can use your device to load sheet music or extract the chords of your favourite songs with the audio and score function. The built in Bluetooth® MIDI functionality allows you to use the Smart Pianist app over a wireless connection. There is also headphone connectivity meaning you can practice without disturbing your family or neighbours.
The grand expression modelling technology accurately simulates the complex interplay between player and instrument, reproducing the same limitless tonal variation of a grand piano. The virtual resonance modelling faithfully reproduces the extraordinarily complex resonance in a grand piano that are created by the sympathetic vibration of the strings and soundboard.
Yamaha L-515 fixed height stand: The P-525 digital piano bolts securely onto this stand, for ultimate stability and rigidity, allowing you to turn your piano into a furniture style instrument. With an attractive wood gran finish and available in both black and white, the stand perfectly matches the P-525.
Yamaha L-P1 pedal unit: The L-P1 bolts onto the L-515 stand, with the pedals styled to look like the lyre of an acoustic grand piano. The sustain pedal is capable of half-pedalling to give you more control over the damping action, while the other two pedals activate sostenuto and soft - the same functionality as a Yamaha grand.
