Introducing the Kemble 116 Modern upright piano c.1989
Manufactured in the UK in 1989, the Kemble 116 Modern is an excellent compact upright piano, ideal for both home and educational settings.
Constructed with high-quality components, including a Langer action, Herrburger Brooks keyboard, and a solid Austrian spruce soundboard, it offers a warm, rich tone that differs from the brighter character of many Yamaha and Kawai models from the same period. Its responsive action provides precise control and an enjoyable playing experience for pianists of all levels.
Featuring a full-length 88-note keyboard and a celeste (practice) pedal for quieter playing, the Kemble 116 Modern is well suited to home use. Standing 116cm tall, its longer strings and larger soundboard deliver impressive tonal depth and dynamic range, making it capable of meeting the demands of more advanced repertoire.
This example is presented in excellent condition, having been freshly serviced and showing very little wear to its internal components. It represents outstanding value and comes highly recommended.
