Jack! The Musical is a fully scripted musical entertainment in pantomime style which is loosely based on the story of Jack and the Beanstalk. The story has been very freely adapted and modernised: Jack and his mother now live in a rented terraced house in London's Docklands owned by a used car salesman called King Carlot. Jack's neighbours provide the chorus which can include a wide range of additional performers. There is plenty of scope for choreographing the songs, and there is a specific number designed to take advantage of budding dancers. This musical can be adapted to suit the needs and resources of each performing group, whether a school, a theatre group or professional company. Vocal score also contains the script, lyrics sheets and CD providing instrumental accompaniments
