Introducing the Stentor Student II violin
The Stentor Student II comes recommended as the perfect violin for any beginner or student to learn on and is praised by teachers and music services for its quality and reliability. The violin is carved from solid tonewoods, in Stentor's unique workshop environment, with a spruce front and maple back, neck and ribs. This produces an instrument with elegant tone and resonance, a responsive sound and reliable performance with a consistently great sound and feel.
The pegs, nut and saddle are made from ebony and the violin is fitted with branded flexible core strings and a quality composite tailpiece with integral adjusters. The ebony body and fingerboard provide excellent form and stability that are crucial when learning a new instrument. All Stentor's instruments have inlaid purfling.

This is the ideal violin for the beginner and comes complete with a lightweight case with burgundy red integral cover and safety reflectors. With a fitted interior and accessory pocket, two bow holders and a case blanket; carrying straps, a full lid music pocket and external shoulder rest pocket, this violin case contains everything you need to get started. It also includes a high quality student wood bow with natural horsehair and full mounted ebony frog.
All of our violins are subjected to a thorough set-up prior to despatch by our experienced on-site string technician. This process involves making sure the bridge is fitted perfectly, tuning it up, applying rosin to the wood bow and making sure the instrument is playable straight from the case upon arrival.The Stentor Student II is available in a range of sizes from 1/16 all the way through to 4/4 and is accessible to any age of player.
