An internal headphone preamp with a minijack output allows you to practice at home in silence, while a 6.3mm jack main output allows you to plug in to an amp or computer for performance or recording respectively. A very cool feature of the Stagg silent violin is the MP3 input. This allows you to plug into your phone or other device and hear the music, along with your own playing, through the headphones.
