Introducing the Laney Richter RB2 30W bass guitar combo amplifier

The Laney RB2 bass guitar combo amplifier is a powerful and versatile practice and performance amp that’s packed with features. Delivering a solid 30 watts RMS of bass power through a custom-designed 10" driver and high-frequency horn, the RB2 ensures a full range of bass tones with clarity and definition. Whether you're practicing at home or performing in small venues, the RB2 offers everything you need!

The preamp includes High and Normal jack inputs to accommodate both active and passive basses. A powerful three-band EQ with a swept mid control allows for precise tonal shaping, and a switchable compressor adds instant punch to your sound. It also features an internal limiter for added dynamic control.

The RB2 features a dual-position cabinet design, so it can be used as a conventional stage combo and, if the amplifier is to be used up close to the player, it can be positioned in a “kicked back” orientation, meaning the amp’s output is directed more toward the player’s ears to provide better sound projection in any room. Additionally, the RB2 is equipped with an XLR DI socket, allowing it to be connected directly to a PA system or recording console, making it a great choice for both live and studio environments.

Silent practice is easy, thanks to the mini jack headphone socket, while a mini input jack lets you connect a media player, so you can play along with your favourite tracks. You can also connect an external sound source of your choice, which can be used for playing backing tracks into your unit.

Please note: the volume of music/backing track is controlled by the volume on the external sound source itself.
