Each Stentor cello is carved from solid tonewoods and features inlaid purfling, which not only enhances the instrument’s strength by preventing cracks from spreading but also contributes to a richer sound. The wood is carefully selected for its acoustic properties. The cello comes with an ebony fingerboard and ebony pegs for extra stability, as well as a composite tailpiece with integral adjusters.
