The Percussion Plus hard plastic one piece beaters provide a durable option for playing glockenspiels, chime bars and other percussion instruments. Supplied as a box of 10 bright red beaters, they are made from solid moulded plastic with a 15mm round head.
Each beater is moulded as a single piece, joining the head and handle into one continuous construction. This removes the separate head-to-handle joint found on some traditional beaters, helping the beaters withstand regular use in busy music classrooms. They are manufactured in the UK and are designed for long-lasting use.
The solid plastic construction gives these beaters a particularly hard head, producing a clear, defined attack when used on tuned percussion. Because the head and handle are formed from one piece of plastic, there is no separate head that can work loose from the shaft during use.
The 15mm round head is designed for use with instruments such as glockenspiels and chime bars. The hard plastic head can also be used with a range of other classroom percussion instruments where a firm beater is appropriate.
The bright red finish also makes the beaters easy to identify and distribute when working with multiple instruments or larger groups.
With 10 individual beaters supplied in each box, the PP38425 provides a practical quantity for schools and other music education settings. Having a complete set available also makes it easier to replace missing or damaged beaters without having to purchase individual replacements.
