Bring students together through rhythm and collaborative music-making with the Percussion Plus gathering drum. At 91.5cm in diameter, this large floor-standing drum provides enough playing space for three to four players to gather around it, making it an engaging instrument for group activities, classroom lessons and drum groups.
The drum features a natural goatskin head stretched over a solid wooden rim, producing a warm, resonant sound when played. Two foldable legs lift the drum from the floor to a comfortable height for players sitting around it, while the included beaters and carry bag make it practical for regular use and storage.
The large playing surface allows three to four musicians to play together around the same instrument. This makes the gathering drum particularly useful for developing rhythm, listening and ensemble skills through collaborative music-making.
